La Grange de la Gatineau launches a series of monthly concerts that combines the best in music for all tastes – from jazz to folk, crooners to Cuban — with excellent food and service in a magnificent heritage setting.

The series opens on Saturday Jan. 24 with the rich singing and writing talent of singer-songwriter Lindsay Ferguson (www.lindsayferguson.com). With her “liquid voice, passionate song writing and dynamic stage presence that create a powerful effect,” Lindsay is as diverse as she is impressive.Lindsay Ferguson

Love and tradition will be the theme of music on Saturday Feb. 14 for a Valentines Day concert with Floralove Katz, followed by an eclectic range of local and visiting artists through the months to follow.

La Grange de la Gatineau, in Cantley, Quebec, just 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa, is a restored pioneer log barn that provides the warmth and ambience, perfect acoustics and gourmet food to make for memorable musical evenings.

“Since the Grange de la Gatineau was formed as a not-for-profit organisation to support the arts, it has been my dream to stage concerts that would appeal to music-lovers who want to enjoy their listening in a cabaret setting that marries fine food and great musical atmosphere,” said Brigid Phillips, President of the Grange de la Gatineau. “Live@Grange concerts will offer excellent entertainment in a setting that will make your evening something special.”

A full dinner will be served with wine during the concert. Space is limited to 85 guests, so reservations are necessary. Service begins at 7 pm, and the concert starts at 7:30.

Price:     Concert with full dinner and wine – $65 or $60 each for parties of 5 or more.
Concert with wine and tapas: $28 per person.
